Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. Wins LMCO Fully Mission Capability % Uptime Award

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems recognized Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. with an award for “exceeding Customer field expectations in the Fully Mission Capability % uptime of the power carts” during the 2017 Supplier Summit on September 20th.

The award, a great honor shared by all the Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. employees, is possible thanks to the extraordinary collaboration between companies and the dedication of all involved in support of the F-35 program.  To date, the F-35 Diesel and Electric Carts manufactured by AGEC are performing at over 98% fully mission capable, with over 20,000 hours of operation, enabling continuous operation and support to the Warfighter.

This year’s Supplier Summit was held at the Lockheed Martin’s facility in Orlando, FL.

The F-35 Support Equipment suppliers were invited to discuss the current state of the program and what we can all do to improve program execution and drive affordability.  The agenda for the day included an overview on Ground Support Equipment, Sustainment Repair Metrics and Support Equipment Quality.  The event was a great success and included a tour of Lockheed’s Innovation Demonstration Center (IDC).
