AVIATION GROUND EQUIPMENT CORP. CELEBRATES MILESTONE

On June 20th,  Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. (AGEC) held an Open House at its Franklin, OH facility to celebrate the manufacture of their 100th Electric and 100th Diesel Ground Power Units for Lockheed Martin.  The Ground Power units are designed and manufactured exclusively for use with the F-35, a 5th generation stealth combat aircraft.  AGEC military products were showcased during the event while customers, suppliers, community leaders, and guests participated in facility tours

AGEC President, Mr. Barry Spilka, addressed all in attendance and thanked the employees for their commitment to the company and its customers.  “Our employees are our biggest asset and thanks to their dedication and attention to quality, we continue to delight our customers and exceed their expectations” said Mr. Spilka.   Lockheed Martin was thanked for the trust placed in the company and for giving the company the opportunity to be part of the F-35 program supporting the Warfighter.  Mr. Spilka concluded by recognizing the suppliers and community leaders for their support in meeting this significant milestone.
